Route Server Tasks

Scheduled tasks for all things related to route servers: IRR, RPKI, and BGP.

Task	Schedule	Description
Update BIRD Config	RS1: 10 Minutes past every hour RS2: 40 Minutes past every hour	Updates the BIRD configuration file with the latest IXPManager data.
Pull Prefix IRR Data	00:07, 06:07, 12:07, 18:07	Pulls IRR data for prefixes from RADB and updates the IXPManager database. Note: Takes affect when BIRD config is updated.
Pull ASN IRR Data	00:37, 06:37, 12:37, 18:37	Pulls IRR data for ASNs from RADB and updates the IXPManager database. Note: Takes affect when BIRD config is updated.

Administrative Tasks

Scheduled tasks related to administration of the infrastructure.

Task	Schedule	Description
Pull Switch SNMP Data	Every 5 minutes	Pulls SNMP data from the switches for port info and traffic stats.
Update MRTG Config	Top of every hour	Updates the MRTG configuration file with the latest IXPManager data.
Update Reverse DNS	Top of every hour	Updates the reverse DNS records for the peer's IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Update IndyIX AS-SET	Top of every hour	Updates AS-INDYIX which contains the AS-SETs of all IndyIX members.
